The shower riser is only a part of the whole project wich involved a tub spout with a top port base for the riser and the D-shower curtain rod. The riser fastens to the D-rod by use of a Double Loop (336-cp) The Double Loop is the intersection coupling for the riser and D-shower rod. Two set screws lock the intersection into place. The set screw on the Double loop that locks into the side of the virtical riser does not keep the riser from turning to the left or right when handling the shower head. It slips. It would be better if there was a more tightly fitting clamp at that point. Hopefully the same set screw will not slip allowing the D-shower rod to slip downward. If handled with care, the user should get good service from this product. If they have roudy kids that decide to play in the shower, like hanging from the D-shower rod, the results could be undesirable.
