Shop for knobs and hardware

I was looking for something striking to place on the wall behind a new range hood made of stainless steel with a glass canopy. After comparison shopping, I really had not seen anything I liked as well as the Melange Jolie Glass Tile Abalone. When I received the package, I took out one of the tile sheets and wondered if I'd made a bad choice because the colors were not as deep as I expected. My contractor taped up a sheet of the tiles in place and they turned out to be exactly what I'd hoped: a stunning backdrop. I'd recommend Knobs and Hardware to my friends. Prices were comparable to local vendors, email responses from the company were prompt and informative and the delivery was fast.

I bought this to use as an accent piece on the wall. Like one of the previous buyers, when i first took it out of the packaging I thought it was dull and unimpressive. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Even just hanging on the wall by itself it looks great, but we have put a silver frame around it and a white matting behind it (so that the irregular edges show) for a 'shadow box' effect. Since it's hanging on a dark teal wall, the white really brings out all of the colors. in the evening when the light is on, or at certain times of the day, it reflects so many colors so intensely that it almost looks neon.
At the price, I couldn't afford to tile my back splash with it, but this is just as good (plus i won't have to clean it). Put your imagination to work with this one, or the other colors available - it's a real conversation piece and too unusual to pass up.
