This product is just the ticket for adding a safety latch to french wing door which generally only come with a twist latch - something that can be easily opened from the outside by merely sliding a piece of plastic through the space between the door and the frame.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Communication and delivery service are excellent. The product does not meet my expectations. The screws broke when I screwed them in the floor and the door. This leaves me with NO confidence that the bolt will serve its purpose. If the screws break during installation, what can I expect if there is the slightest force?
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
