This hinge fit the hole pattern on my cabnet doors so they didn't need to be redrilled. The cabnet side had to be redrilled though. The style was as close as I could find to my 30 year old original. You can see a definate decrease in quality from the 30 year old model that was made in U.S. These new ones won't last half that long I am guessing.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
