I love the shape and style of the Fleur de Lis tiles, but the color is nothing like that pictured. It is a flat black, definitely not an oil rubbed bronze as the picture would indicate. Looks nice in my backsplash, but could look awesome.

Hanger arrived accordign to schedule, was easy to install and looks great. I would have preferred the inclusion of some dry wall anchors suitable for the screw size to have been included (not possible to hit stud with all of the screws - but this is a minor niggle.

The product is cheaply made. The screws that attach the bracket to the stair are not long enough or strong enough. The screw that attaches the front of the bracket to the back is not long enough or strong enough. For the price, a little higher quality is expected.

Trying to get a match for some historic hinges in our old house, the Brass Elegans site offers a hinge (the Lafayette model) which is visually accurate, but lacks the "pin" function of most hinges. Rather, what would be the top of the pin is simply a screw-out finial; this is not going to help with hanging the door, is it?

These are beautiful hinges and have received many positive comments from family and friends. My only caution is these hinges are slightly thicker than standard door hinges which created some challenges when installing them on existing doors. Also the brass screws are a little soft so you need to be very careful installing them.

My Mom gave me 4 of these for Christmas. I loved them so much, I had to purchase more to cover the rest of the vents in the house. They are a high quality product, durable, and very attractive looking. I highly recommend them!
