I love the look, it's gorgeous and you will not be dissapointed. However, it is a natural stone and the depth varied quite a bit which made it harder for installation. The end result is worth it.

This matches the Westminster Bannanappeal tile that is no longer available through Home Depot Expo. I am very happy with the look.Some of the tiles were thicker than others which made the install a little tricky.

The tiles are beautiful. I saved about $50.00 on this purchase. The order came in a few days. It would have been nice to be able to order single sheets in addition to a full box. I would have ordered a few more sheets.

Great product. Every piece is unique in color and texture.
Make sure that you use an installer that has worked with slate and is recommended by your local tile shops.
Floorandsurfaces.com offered this product at a great price and delivery was very timely. Saved $5 /sq foot.

The metal inserts that we ordered were just as they appeared on the website. They look beautiful on our kitchen backsplash. We realized after laying out the tile and inserts that we were short by one tile, so I emailed to see if I could just buy one tile (they come in packages of six). They could ship us one but it would cost $15 for the tile and $15 for the shipping charges. The shipping charge seemed a little steep for me for just one tile. Anyway, we may do a metal mural behind the stove or end up ordering the one tile to the tune of $30. I think that was the only disappointing thing about our order.

I bought about 45 sq ft of this for a kitchen backsplash. All in all, I am very pleased with the look of the product. The picture shown does it NO justice. The slate has a copper metallic look to it and when sunlight hits it, its amazing. I think it goes best with tan brown granite counters. There were only 2 cracked tiles (2X4 pieces) out of the entire lot which was amazing. I did learn not to get the mesh backer wet, as it comes off easily when damp. This tile is not honed, so keep in mind pieces vary in thickness. This was not an issue for me as I was going for that look. I have yet to grout my project yet, which hopefully wont be too difficult. I am somewhat worried cause the tile is uneven in thickness which may make things somewhat more difficult.

Only thing I was not happy with was the shipping time. They stated 1-2 days it ships but it took me 30 days (I kid you not) to receive my order. Told me it was on backorder, but not until 2 weeks after I purchased.
