The product that I found at your online store was exactly what I had been looking for and had come to believe might not exist. I needed cast iron floor heating registers. I needed cast iron so if someone's chair landed on it, it wouldn't collapse, like the brass ones that I had been using. I built my house and
had purchased most of my registers from Reggio Registers. They
are nice people and have product similar to yours but for some reason they don't make a register this size with the vent attached.

The vent attachment really helps to anchor the register and control the air flow. They have a contraption that you wrap some sort of insulation around and drop into the duct.
I'm a happy customer. The shipment arrived quickly and the product is great.

We installed three gates using all acorn hinges,latches and bolts. We found that the quality is not as good as the basic gate supplies found in our local hardware store for a fraction of the price. After two (summer) monthes all materials are showing rust. We were under the inpression that the finish was superior qaulity and would hold up. Also the design of the gate latches has a six foot gate being held closed by about an eigth of an inch of metal(not very secure). All in all the look is nice but we spent about $800 dollars when we could have had basic black hardware that is way more secure and better quality for $200. Also no directions came with the bolts.

They where the best cost for this and the shipping was supper quick. I must admit the lack of directions was kind of disappointing. I am just a weekend handy man and spent a lot of time making sure when I installed it it was right. would of been nice to have instructions instead of guessingand looking at other peoples house. This hinge looks great and goes well with our arts and crafts kitchen. My main complaint is that "self-closing" is an exaggeration. It rally does not close well at all.

I installed the product, per manufacturer's instructions, without any problems, but, after working fine for the first couple of days, now when trying to open the door by pressing the handle or turning the knob requires a lot of effort to actually bring the tongue in. I re-opened the lock and re-installed it, and every time after I open it and reset it it works fine for one or two days, then it's back to square one.
On top of this, on the outside handle, the black paint started to come off in one place, as well as from the tongue of the lock, so you can now see the real color of the metal underneath.

Very disappointed with the product.
The look of the product out of the box was nice, but once you start using it, you see its real lack of quality.

This lockset is a top quality product, and is larger and heavier than it looks in the pictures. It is quite solid, and the finish is a beatiful flat black (not shiny or mottled, and there is no color variation). It is ergonomic even for larger hands - this is no lightwieght garden fence handle! I installed this with the attached deadbolt (comes with the mortisse) into one leaf, and the dummy handle on the other leaf of a pair of salvaged doors from Italy. And wha-la! REAL NICE!!

My husband and I looked high and low at antique shops around us and couldn't find any straps that were reasonably priced and that didn't have the hinges! We came upon Knobs and Hardware and found EXACTLY what we were looking for and were hoping when they arrived they would look like what we thought the would......they surpassed our expectations, and reasonably priced. I bought these nails for a Bible School project. We are making cross necklaces with them. These nails symbolize the ones used to nail Jesus to the cross. We use two long nails(2"), placed head to point, wired together(with floral wire) about 2/3 from the end. Then we place two shorter nails(1 1/2") crosswise over the wire and continue to wrap the wire in an x-pattern to secure them together. We then form a loop on the back side with the wire and thread a length of leather cord through the loop. When finished, we place a little hot glue over the back of the necklace where the nails meet to keep them from slipping. They turn out very nice and are a good project, especially for boys.

Actually I bought this for a client Pricilla and Pricilla loves the knob. Her husband John has huge hands so this was excellent so John is able to get his hands around it. The Knob itself, came loose and broke off more than once, exposing the sharp metal pronges that are suposed to keep the knob on. It is now Gorilla Glued on for the second time. Don't buy it!

I LOVE this and it is perfect for me. I bought this for a specific place in my home. I looked for hours to find the perfect knob and this is it. If you want something heavy duty and heavy weight (which I usually do) then this is not the knob for you. I do feel that it was very expensive, but it is the perfect knob for the job.I love it.

I bought 4 differnt knobs in the Acorn square ceramic series and used them on 4 vertical drawers in the middle of a 6' vanity. They arrived quickly and well packaged, and were just as pictured on the web site. The quality is very high and they are quite beautiful. By using 4 different knobs I got a nice eclectic look. I had my contractor install them, but a do-it-yourselfer can do it with some patience. One complaint: I could not find a template on the web site or anywhere else on the web or at any store that I went to. You see these templates on TV all the time,but I and my contractor have no idea where they get them; we had to jury rig a template.

This is just about the closest to the antique look of Hammered Iron I could find outside of going to an actual blacksmith. It looks very good holding the fireplace doors together in our early american home .

I was very pleased with the weight and feel of the towel bar. I was worried they would look inferior to the iron sconces I have in the same powder room, but they more than measure up. The only downfall is there is an illusion once the bar is hung that it is not level. We checked for level above the diamonds and on the bar. I think it is the iron twist of the bar that gives the illusion that one end is lower than the other.

I have purchased Acorn hardware for years because the quality is there, the look is there and, with Knobs and Hardware, the quick service is there. Acorn has a repeatable look that is unique, but fairly priced. Five years from now you will still be able to match an existing piece.

I will always seek out Acorn hardware because it is a quality brand. Matching screws. Careful packaging. Even paint finish.
Not an unknown, who knows what, hardware; Acorn hardware!

What did I use the hinges for? Replaced the existing crappy hinges on the "peephole door" of a $3200.00 custom distressed knotty alder entry door. Remember, Acorn makes GREAT hardware, and you can get it quickly from Knobs and Hardware!!!

Installation anywhere from 3-4.5 hrs each from set up to clean up (I had 4) depending on the little complications that arose with each;- eg. lining up the strike plate properly, getting the thumb-turn to work freely when screws were tightened, lining up the two side holes with lock body after mortising it into door edge, etc.

Funnily enough all 4 large holes lined up acceptably, but all 4 thumb-turn holes were off from the templet - most likely due to mortising & because it's measured from high edge of door bevel. I was working with old, irreplaceable doors which were assembled with different types (densities) of wood that confused my Forstner bit. Re the forstner bits I had to constantly clean wood fibers off cutting edges which made drilling 4" deep strenuous and exciting to say the least (ever experienced wood shavings bursting your work wide open?)

I should have sprung for more expensive Forstner bits (carbide) which may have helped speed along the drilling (cutting) time and reduced the enormous effort that went into pushing this bit through 4" of wood (exhausting!)

Bottom line this is a custom deadbolt that's very expensive to buy and requires much time and precision to install for a neat, professional look - only for the patient and very wealthy!

The 1940-1950 era flat panel cabinets in our kitchen had hideous arrow like H hinges and were the color of early american furniture.

We painted them white, added molding to the flat panels, and installed these hinges. This effort took our kitchen from hideous to lovely, with very little effort.
