Door handle was easily installed and fit perfect. The Deadbolt however was made very poorly. The tumbler never functioned right and at this time is not even working. I will soon have to replace the deadbolt cylinder simply to have a working/locking door handle.

These door knobs are first class. They are heavey and solid..no mickey mouse metal here!!!!
They look great in our new log home...we have 21 interior doors and several half dummies on closet doors. These doorknobs are wonderful...make sure you order the correct backset size for your doors if they are pre-cut for doorknobs!!!

I had seen the product on line and loved it. I was apprehensive about ordering because I was worried that it might not be as heavy duty as I needed. I needed over 20 of them and decided to order one to look at the quality. It was stunning! It had all the character and detail of the photo and had the weight I wanted for the "Old World" look I was trying to achieve. The detail is raised up and has the look of expensive hardware. I purchased most of the products for my home on the Internet and price shop considerably before buying. Knobs and Hardware had the best price. The product arrived well packaged and within the time frame I needed it. I normally do not respond to questionaires because they are on the heels of placing the order. Most of the time I haven't even received the product. I love my choice and it truly adds to my "Million Dollar Look."

The solid brass and glass set has only one drawback: it's not adjustable for various size openings, so I have a crescent of no paint one one side and a crescent of no stain on the other.
Other than that, it exceeded my expectation.

Somewhat expensive, but well worth it. I ordered only one initially to test it, then ordered in bulk for the whole house. The handle is very heavy and gives the "solid" feel when pressed. Due to its mass, it does not "jump" back as a hollow one would, but returns into original position with determination. There is a nice pattern on the top of the Portofino handle that is not clearly visible in the picture - a little "step" through the middle of the handle. The pewter finish looks great with the roped rosette.

Two warnings: (1) it takes a few days to get the order in as it is shipped directly from the manufacturer (possibly custom built) so do not point in using any express shipping; (2) being semi-custom, the returns appear to be costly.

This is by far the most expensive interior door knob I have ever purchased. It confirms the adage "you get what you pay for." The knob is heavy - very solidly made. The finish (Oil Rubbed Bronze) is gorgeous and flawless. The action is smooth. Everything about this knob reflects quality and craftsmanship. Definitely recommended.
