This is a beautiful kitchen faucet of excellent quality. A very substantial piece, it has a great design, and wonderful finish. A perfect addition to any kitchen.

When the faucet arrived, I was pleased with the packaging and quality. I was unaware of the size (smaller) and weight (lighter) of the item. This was a replacement for a damaged faucet and it felt like I took a downgrade. Perhaps additional homework on my end would have mitigated this situation.

We were a little hesitant on how the water control handle would hold up since it functions differently than most faucets, but it has worked beautifully. We do however turn it back to it's upright position after every use just so that it is less likely to get bumped.

We bought this faucet four years ago and never had a problem. A few weeks ago it started to leak. I called the company and they were so nice to send me all the replacement parts totally free. I had a reputable plumber come out, he fixed it and the very next day it started leaking again. The plumber came out again and took the entire thing apart and put it back together and it started to leak all over again. The plumber said it cannot be fixed. I would think I could get more than four years out of a high end faucet. I will never buy another product from Hamat.

It's a beautiful faucet, and only sent my husband to the hardware store once for the installation (the hose lines which came attached were too short for our sink arrangement, so he had to get extensions.) Otherwise the installation was simple, and the faucet and sprayer look very nice.

I have had this for almost 7 years. It leaks in three places - at the base, the hose and the pull out. I have written their customer service who has been helpful but in the end I just need to replace it. My original price was over $300. In the beginning I had trouble with the pull out and the weight on the end of it, it fell off all the time. I had to replace the small screws they include with a much larger version to keep it on. Although I loved the look and style, the faucet has been an aggrivation.
