In bygone days, pushplates were used to protect the butler’s pantry door from grime. Nostalgic Warehouse offers several vintage pushplate designs that can be mounted above the doorknob for a distinctive appearance. See options to choose finish.
Authentic look and feel. Matches ORB finish from Emtek that is used elsewhere in house. Nice quality and solid feel. A bit on the pricey side since I had to buy 6 of them (3 swing doors in the house). Took 10 days to get them as they did not ship for a week after initial order.
Product arrived in a beat up box that not been touch since the turn of the last century. Each plate was individually wrapped whichi was somewhat encouraging after seeing the box it arrived in. The satin nickel finish was inconsistent with burnish marks every which way, it looked like it still needed to go through a final polishing process before packaging. They appear to have been made overseas not in this country. They're not cheap and they're not very well made. I would not recommend them to anyone.
